Take These Feet

Take These Feet is done!  Naomi and I made an acoustic album to help support our trip to West Africa for a year.  It is a collection of hymns we love done our way, and an original song for kicks.

We are asking for a donation of 20 dollars for the CD, though I know that some people don't exactly have the means to pay 20 dollars so 10 is fine too if that's the case.

It's 2010

It's 2010 and here is my life at the moment.

College is over. Hallelujah!

I am going to Coté D'Ivorie in September for one year.  I need lots of prayer, and lots of money.

I am recording an acoustic CD with Naomi to help raise funds for the trip, plus it will make a great addition to my iTunes library!  This week I want to pound that CD out.

I have been friends with Krista for many years, and have always kinda liked her, but recently we have been spending a lot more time together and I am really beginning to fall for her.  I have never met someone like her before, so praise God for the relationship that is developing there.  I am really enjoying our friendship and I hope to pursue her in a more romantic fashion.....I'll just have to wait and see what God does there.  I am going away for a year after all, but I have decided that I can't let that keep me from pursuing her.

I am hungry.  Food time!

update

ok here's the update:

I will not graduate in May, I will be graduating in December.
I have decided to give up video games and spend my time doing more productive things, and life is better already! :D lol
I am a bit behind in my philosophy class, but I think I can catch up.
I met my friend's sister, Sarah, and she is the most awesomest person ever! We get along great, so it's exciting to see a new friendship developing.
I need to find a job for this summer, I'm getting a little nervous about that.

God Bless, have a wonderful day!

School and Obama

I know I've made it obvious that I'm not the biggest fan of our president, but I really do hope and pray he does well. I respect him in a lot of ways, and I honestly to hope the best for him. He is our leader after all, as well as a fellow human being, so I hope the best for him.

Anyways, that aside...I got all of my classes i need for school! Well, except on Monday I need to fill out paperwork to get into Music 191/198 for my senior project. I'm signed up to do a 45 minute presentation and a 10 page paper on Kenyan musical traditions, especially tribal music and how it influences the mainstream in Kenya. HOWEVER, I really don't WANT to do this topic anymore...I'm thinking I want to to a senior recital now. Writing music and preforming it is just soooo much more appealing to me than talking about ANYTHING for 45 minutes lol.

Please pray for my semester! Pray that I would be diligent and that the Lord would see it in his favor to allow me to graduate this semester.

My Scariest Nightmare - The Uninvited Contest

I just blogged about my scariest nightmare to enter The Uninvited Scariest Nightmare Contest for 1,000 credits. You can earn free credits too! Brought to you by The Uninvited - In Theaters January 30th.

Fine. I'll do it, I'll blog about my scariest nightmare.

*fall asleep*

Obama becomes president off a campaign of hype, giving speeches full of one liners and fluff but no substance.
People worship him like a god and think he has all the answers to our problems.

*wake up*

ok that was it! oh wait! that's really happened! oh noes!

Seriously though, I have a bad feeling about Obama. I honestly just sense something demonic at work when I see his speeches, and see how blindly half the nation is following him. That's the main reason I don't support him. The fact that I think he's completely unequipped to run our nation is a side note at best.
